The food is cooked right, festive traditional. The environment is friendly and light. Fresh guacamole made at your sitting and the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. “My go-to place for dinner on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights it's the Hidden Gem of Ellenville always room and very generous plates all at a fair price and the lunches are incredibly cheap. I've been going there for years and the chef Andrew loves food and he knows other people do also. When the owner sees me she comes and sits down at my table and chats with me and the staff all know my idiosyncrasies. Love it love it love it.”

“A quaint restaurant with a friendly owner and nice staff. There is an outdoor seating area in the back during warmer months. Their food is fresh, with some of the freshest salad greens I've been able to find at a restaurant in the area. Portion sizes are generous, and prices are very reasonable. Everything is made to order, so don't come in a rush and just enjoy yourself. We're looking forward to returning on a regular basis.”
