The steel cut oats were creamy and the choice of toppings was extensive. I chose the fresh bananas and locally made granola, yum... I decided to take home servings of the Lentil & Minestrone soups - Rich, thick & not overwhelming spiced up. “The atmosphere is cozy, warm and very inviting, the aroma when you walk in is yummy. We ordered coffee which was very good!! Then we oredered a egg sandwich. Which was very tasty I hqd a cornchowder soup which was so good to the last drop. Then we ordered the partfait strawberry yogurt and granolla and fresh fruit yummy, then I finally got my freshly Baked scones, the best scones I have had in a very long time. (It is advised to call ahead for the scones if not its a 20min wait )but well worth it. This will be my new go to spot for breakfast or lunch.”

Was able to head upstairs during the set break of our friends show and catch another, entirely different band doing a set of Latin big band jazz. “Stopped in for a quick bite on route to Phoenicia. We're vegetarian and never know what to expect as far as quality when we're on the road. We shared a vegetable burrito and a vegetable tamale. Both were fresh and delicious with an interesting mix of vegetables, not just your standard peppers and onions that you often get in South American restaurants - asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, collard greens, etc. We thought everything was so good we brought 2 tamales home with us to have in the freezer for later this week. “I'm biased, but it's a beautiful space serving great food and great drinks. Emily is running her first business and you wouldn't know it. Great energetic vibe (no typical angsty sad coffeehouse rock). Excellent coffee and lattes, and an interesting breakfast menu. She's hired a chef and I can't wait to go in the evenings when she had her beer and wine license. For now it's the third side you wish your kitchen was in the morning. Come for a pick me up!”
