Beyond the Sea

Food is great, so are the prices great in size that is. I asked for bread because the portions were not large, the prices prevented our party from ordering an appetizer. But if you're accustomed to the current trend of overpriced fish that is undercooked, this is the place for you. The service was good and the owner is very gracious. I just don't like spending three hundred bucks for a party of four

I came here for a romantic evening with my boyfriend on a recent trip to Lake George and we couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant is charming and beautifully decorated with old jazz tunes playing quietly in the background. We were some of the only people there so it was quiet and intimate and the service we received was truly above and beyond. Our waitress, Kat, was funny, lively, and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely outstanding. I had the lobster ravioli and my boyfriend had the New York strip steak and both were cooked to perfection with two perfectly paired wines. Try the Calling Cabernet Sauvignon! For dessert we had a slice of double chocolate cake with some dessert wines and Dave, the owner, brought us a sample of Bubba's distilled brown sugar whiskey (which you can ONLY find at this restaurant) and stayed and chatted for a bit. He is a delightful man as is Scott who also helped us out. The selection of unique spirits and wines here is impressive! All in all it was an absolutely perfect experience and will now be our go-to romantic date spot in that area. If you are in the Lake George/Bolton area, you won't find a better option than Beyond the Sea!

I had a Cheese burger and fries at this establishment! OMG it was phenomenal! If your in town I definitely recommend this place they even offer a kids menu. Lovely customer service and quality food

Three old gals traveling together stumbled upon this treasure. The owner, Dave, made us feel so welcome. Our server, Chester, was absolutely charming, knowledgeable and professional. The chef cooked our meals to perfection. Wish we could give this restaurant much more than five stars.
