“It's all about the elevated views of Lake George. Very nice bar area and patios overlooking the water. We had a group of 5 people. Service was very good with the food marginal at high end prices. It's like what should I expect for a restaurant on the lake. Good for cocktails and an appetizer on the upper bar patio but dinner will be costly. Crab cakes are fair and the stuffed mushrooms caps are tiny for starters. Entry portions should be larger and tasty with the high pricetags but fail to meet that standard. Swordfish and shrimp plate was very good but came with cold n lumpy mashed potatoes. Our tab came to over $300. Enjoy the view.”

“Spent a night on a lark with my wife. Fantastic decor and ambiance, with a very friendly and courteous staff. The room was well appointed. Comfortable bed, jacuzzi, and a shower with more than enough room for two. My wife and I paid extra for a fruit and cheese plate with prosecco on ice to be waiting for us in the room. Well stocked bar with a massive stone fire just outside with plenty of deck chairs to lounge on. Stunning views of Lake George from the aforementioned deck. A bit on the pricey side, but certainly worth it if you don't mind the cost and enjoy unique lodging experiences. Very close to downtown and just down the road from several amazing restaurants in the other direction as well. At checkout we had breakfast in the dining room. Very respectable omelette and pancakes between the two of us to see us on our way home. We will definitely stay again in the future.”

“We placed an order for two hungry man breakfasts at this establishment. However, despite the name, the hungry man was left still hungry after consuming the meal. The breakfast included three eggs, some hash browns, one round sausage, and a sub bun. While the food was not exceptional, it was at least convenient. On a positive note, the store had a wide selection of items, offering everything one might need and more. We were able to purchase firewood for $10, and the fire starter provided worked wonderfully, making it easy to get our fire going.”

“Having our wedding (ceremony & reception) at Hiland Park was a dream come true! In fact, Hiland Park was the only wedding venue we looked at and instantly fell in love as soon as we walked in for our tour. We knew it was the one! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and it was everything we could have hoped for. The food for both cocktail hour and dinner was fantastic, in fact our guests thought cocktail hour was the dinner because of how much food there was! Everyone raved about the quality of the food and the experience they had at our wedding. The staff was incredible and so attentive to our needs! You can tell that they love what they do and we appreciate all of their help and special attention given to us on our special day! Dan was phenomenal to work with! He is professional, communicative, and just an all around good guy. We had a wonderful experience having Dan as our coordinator and can’t thank him enough for all of his help and expertise! We wish we could relive this day over and over! My husband and I will continue to recommend Hiland Park to anyone looking for a wedding venue!”

I was very impressed this evening..we ordered take out for my birthday and they forgot something in the order, they drove to my house to give it to us. The staff was friendly. Quality is good, but the food for the price... not good. These are $8 dollar sandwiches, not $13. Start selling them with a side for that price or start putting a bit more meat/toppings on them. Make them stand out. There is no wow factor to the food to make me want to come back for the cost.”

I'm going to try the sausage bacon breakfast burrito next! It only opened recently (it wasn't here before summer 2022), I've been in the village 2 days a week this summer (2022), and I've been recommending this place when anyone asks me where to get breakfast in the village ☺️ 7/11/22 I got the sausage bacon wrap today (and found out it's called the moose wrap) and it was delicious. “This place is great--a great find with this amazing close-up view of the river. The food was awesome! The owners made us feel very welcome and we will go back any time we are heading to Warrensburg.
