    If you are looking for a fabulous beautiful view of the lake with great food and quality service, then you have to go to Château on the Lake!! The owner and staff want to go out of their way to make your experience exactly what you are expecting!! The back patio is stunning at night with the lights and candles throughout your dinner or just having cocktails sitting on the lake!

    Everything was wonderful.
    Charcuterie platter is a must.
    Entrees are all delicious.
    Desserts to die for.
    We ate outside on a beautiful night.
    Great service.
    If you are in Lake George you have to come for dinner

    Undeniably one of the most romantic places me and my wife have ever been to! We were in Lake George area for Memorial day weekend and after spending an amazing day at bars around Lake George, had made reservations for 6 pm at Chateau.

    We had requested outdoor seating and the weather is absolutely amazing! Clear blue sky, nice sunshine, temperature in 70's and some amazing acoustic live music being performed by a very pretty looking artist! The seating faces a gorgeous lawn overlooking the lake. One cannot ask for any more perfect setup than this one.

    We ordered 2 extremely delicious appetizers, which included New Zealand Lamb Lollipops ($17) and a 48 Hour Pork Belly ($21). The Lamb Lollipops were beyond delicious and cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor on that meat. The pork literally melted in our mouths.

    We were quite stuffed after these appetizers so decided to share an entree, which was a very well seasoned and cooked Chicken Francese ($34). I also had 2 glasses of spectacular white wine.

    The live acoustic music, tiki torches, fire pit, lake and absolute flawless service just made a perfect romantic dinner that me and my wife were looking forward to. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely visit again if we ever go back to Lake George!
