“We didn't know if you had to be a member of the golf course to eat here. Turns out you don't. The view is excellent. The service was really great - our server Sarah did a fantastic job making sure everything was perfect. We started with the Baja shrimp - very similar to the Bang Bang shrimp we love. Only 6 in a serving however. Hubby had french dip with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was good but the fries were excellent. Burger here with fries - perfectly done and with the extras I asked for. The wine selection left a bit to be desired. We will definitely go back again - I hear their fish fry is great - we'll have to try that!”

Was dismayed that the restaurant floors and tables were dirty despite no in-house customers, and it took more than 20 minutes to receive our food, although there were no other customers besides the drive through. Once our food was delivered to our table it was hot (yay!), and good; but the French fry containers were NOT full. It was as if some had spilled out and they were only half full. Some inappropriate, unprofessional behavior between employees, and a female that loudly identified herself as "this is my restaurant"; leading one to assume she is a manager, we could have done without. Overall, nothing that is a deal breaker; but tweaks could be made.”

Nice change of pace. The flavors in the brisket could be emphasized a little more, the pulled pork was good, and the ribs had a uniqueness well worth a try at least once. Sides are good, desserts are tasty. Definitely a nice sidestep away from the norm in the Newark/Lyons area.”
