All the pasta is made fresh down the road and the sauces are delicious. One of my favorite places to eat. Lunch is the best time to go in my opinion, just because of the mushroom sandwich and the pasta lunch specials! The staff are super friendly and everything is made to order. Take out is easy, but they do not deliver. Parking is in the back or around town; it is free to park. Only issue is that the place is really tiny, so be ready to wait on the weekends or during a busy time!
If you are moving to Katonah or visiting, you have to come to Blue Dolphin! Also, try the dish I attached; it's pesto and marinara sauce mixed together with fresh pasta shells.
The food was yummy. Very gourmet for a diner. The soup of the day was chicken and rice. More delicious then I would have expected. We had the crab cake as an appetizer. They only give you one big one with avocados and tomatoes. 3 people had small portions of it. It was tasty. All in all the food was great but very over price. I would come only for special occasions. It's very small so about 4 people to a booth can be cramped. They are a very friendly and polite service. The vibe is diner but the food is high end. Lots of seafood options if your a seafood lover.
Great place! Fresh Trout cooked to perfection & the tiramisu was freshly made on site and amazing!
Super efficient staff @ all levels & waiter was very helpful & knowledgeable.Tiny & quaint. Quint essential New England dining!
My favorite restaurant in town. Hands down the best Italian food you'll eat, in your lifetime. Kind of food that will be a culinary flashback, that will remind you that you're living your best life. Be good to yourself and someone else and go there for lunch or dinner. It's small, so the wait is large. But the wait is worth it.
5 stars are not enough to rate the experience of dining at Blue Dolphin. The seafood dishes are exemplary as was everything else that was ordered and served. Friendly Manager, Staff and Patrons. Not a place for snobby people. My wife and I (married 42 years) pulled in front of the place on a loud HarleyDavison motorcycle. Walked in and were treated like others in suits and ties or tennis clothes. Real people place. My wife and I used to run a Restaurant Supply Company. We visited and ate ate at many places; so many that the tab was 2K per. month. Never came across food as delicious as here.
