We take the kids here all the time for breakfast lunch or dinner. Has a great view of the train for them to watch out the window and the staff is great with kids.

Food is also really good! Great breakfast, burgers and Reuben.

Had a wonderful brunch with friends. French toast stuffed with strawberries and ricotta was yummy.

Casual atmosphere with good food. I've had several 'reunions' there with old friends so we sometimes talk for a long time, but we never feel rushed to leave. The employees are very nice!

The KR Cafe combines the hometown comfort food and atmsophere that makes it a natural staple for locals. The staff is friendly and I like that they hire college and high school kids, to assist their long term wait and kitchen staff. I think this is important, in a community restaurant.
The food is always consistent. Always. Great breakfast. Lunches are spot on and they have the second best Reuben in town. I won't tell you who has the best.
Sometimes the staff gets in the weeds. They do best when Sasha or someone equally qualified expedites.
If you're a regular, they know your name, ask how you are. It's not an act. They really are that nice.
A frequent stop.
Rent in Katonah must be high, so prices reflect that. But, it's in an upscale community, so they're still working to find that sweet spot.
