Half Moon

We held a brunch party for 35 people yesterday Sunday. It went fabulously well! The party Manager, Cory, was so welcoming and pleasant, very organized and a pleasure to deal with. Everything went exactly as he told us it would. We were welcomed by the head-waiter assigned to our party, a very nice and efficient young man who had everything under control and made us feel at home with a big smile. The view is fantastic and the food was delicious. The service was impeccable, fast and discreet. We had two friends make small speeches, during which the head-waiter was considerate and decreased a bit the music in our area. Many of our guests commented on the food, service and décor and said they would be back for a brunch, dinner or to hold their own events. A great find that we recommend warmly. Thank you Cory!

I came here for lunch with my sister back in October and it was kind of disappointing. I was very excited to eat here because of the beautiful location and the name of the place itself.

We were lucky enough to sit outside with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. The server who attended us was friendly but he just didn’t care about the food or the menu. I asked him about one of their chicken sandwiches and his reply was “it’s good” with no emotion! If you wanna sell your food and wow me, give me more than “it’s good”.

Anyways, the food itself was okay. It tasted like something I could make at home. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with a side of salad. Like I said, it was okay. Nothing special. But it was about $17 which I feel is a little much for a sandwich of that quality. My sister ordered a salmon burger and she felt the same.

I’m glad I tried this place out because I’ve always wanted to. I wouldn’t come back though.

If you were to ask me, I’d say save your money. But if you are like me and like to try things out for yourself, then go for it. Maybe you’ll choose something better on the menu than I did.

I made a reservation via Yelp. It was made for 11:30 a.m. However, the restaurant doesn’t open until 11:45 a.m. They should update their times on Yelp reservations.

Because I was the first person in the restaurant. I got a good table with a great view.

I order the cheeseburger with sunny egg and fries. It was a heavy portion and it was really good.

I would recommend them to start doing brunch on Saturdays.

We went for Thanksgiving. We didn't get seated right away for our 4:30 reservation, but we didn't have to wait too long to get our table. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly. They were on point with everything. The meal was expensive but worth it. My wife had the turkey, I had the prime rib and my daughter had the salmon. Everyone was happy with their choice. We had a great view of the Hudson River to the city. We will go back again for dinner another time.

Place is beautiful. The restaurant is huge. The water views are beautiful. Background music was really nice.
Service was great. Very friendly waitstaff.
And now for the food:
Clam chowder was good.
Ceviche was delicious.
Wings were delicious.
Oysters were super fresh.
Lobster mac n cheese was really good.
Lobster roll was good.
Cheesecake was smooth and light.
Place is great for groups or for a romantic dinner. I will be returning as they have a nice big menu.
