Great experience. Food was really good. Best and suprising part of the experience was the music playing in the background -- 90's R&B and hip hop.

Innovative food and drink menu for a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Our waiter was knowledgeable and was quick to answer any questions we had. Next time I'm in the area for dinner, would definitely return.

Twisted Oak is top tier, a place you could just as easily find downtown as you would in Sleepy Hollow. Both in quality and preparation it would work anywhere, but their embrace of the Hudson River locale is what makes this the perfect spot for visitors to the otherwise sleepy burg and the perfect way to end your trip. You'll find locally sourced ingredients throughout their food and drink. While I wouldn't quite call it farm to table, it's clear their making an effort to embrace their empire state roots, and whenever possible use the best of what's produced nearby. Think of it as farm to table meets French preparation techniques.

This feels like the perfect autumn restaurant to me, its cozy low light atmosphere is just right, though I do wish they would adopt a more traditional look rather than the mix of traditional and modern they do. Still I understand, you have to communicate somehow that this is that caliber of restaurant and nothing does that like decor.

Portions are slighlty larger than what you would find if this place were downtown, but small. The focus is on quality, but you'll be both filled and immensely satisfied with a full course meal.

Note they do fill up so use that open table app, we were able to secure a seat adjacent to the bar by walking up on a night they were actually full. Always worth a shot, especially as I have yet to see anything on the Main street that comes even close to rivaling it.

The food was great! Everything I tasted was top notch! From the homemade mozzarella cheese in cream (striachiatella?) to the Duck Lasagna (topped with a fried egg) to the Massive (bring friends) Rib Eye! Even the sides were fantastic! Toasted chickpeas, octopus, the duck soup, and the ROASTED carrots...incredible! Drinks and coffee were excellent. We got last minute reservations for a late dinner on a busy Friday and they treated us like preferred customers! Everyone talked with us, checked our drinks, answered questions about the food and preparation, the chef was even talking with us (he's a Yankees fan!) I left my glasses on the table and the owner whom we talked with came running out to give them to me. Who does that? Well, Twisted Oak does. A great place to spend your hard earned money and well worth it! Nice space, good spacing and lighting and sound levels that allow you to converse. You would be happy to make a find like this. I will be back...

Unbelievable food and the staff and owners are great I recommend the fried chickpeas and duck fat potatoes for starters. As for the main course the Reuben was the best I've ever had. Very cozy spot for dinner and drinks or brunch.
