“This place lived up to the reviews! I loved it! I travel all around the country for work, and it’s often difficult to find authentic Mexican food. This place has that, and the food tastes fresh. I wouldn’t expect people who are used to Americanized Mexican food to fully appreciate the salsa or some of the more authentically-Mexican food choices, but I was very pleased not only with the food but with the service as well. “A bit pricey for Caribbean food and the service is on the amateur side. When we first arrived we had to ask them to please put on some music while we sat at a table for 10 minutes before anyone said anything to us. The food was decent enough, but when we got the bill we had a 20% gratuity added on at 4 in the afternoon for 4 people. Definitely a cute place, but they need to step it up a lot. In addition on a 40 degree rainy day they had no heat on. We froze the entire time. Will not go again anytime soon. Help is definitely needed! Side bar The macaroni and cheese was the bomb!!”
