Great dinner at The Inn. Wonderful warm atmosphere on a cold winter night. Excellent parmesan crusted chicken entree that I really enjoyed. Appetizers and desserts were good but not the standout for me.
What used to be my favorite restaurant is now some place I will likely never visit again. Service is consistently awesome, but last couple of meals have been very meh (especially for the price). However, atmosphere and building are great.
Had a wonderful dinner with friends - loved the menu choices and enjoyed everything we ordered. Highlights were rigatoni with meatballs, Parmesan Chicken, Sea Bass and chocolate cake with marshmallow icing, although everything we ordered was delicious. The service was wonderful from the hostess at the front desk checking us in and helping us get a cab home to the server, manager - all made for a special night. And, it was very busy on a cold Thursday night in January. Looking forward to returning.
The ambience was warm and intoxicating! Service ... well done!! Food ... so good! Recommend the lentil soup and finish with the apple pie accompanied by butter pecan ice cream!! 5 stars
The food is very good and I've enjoyed every meal I've had. The service is quite attentive. This is definitely upscale, but a lot of families have their celebrations here, including mine. I would suggest making reservations, but on a Sunday lunch I've been able to walk in and get a table. In the winter time, there is no nicer place to come in out of the snow to. Fireplaces upstairs and down make this one of the coziest places I've ever been. It is expensive, I would dress better, but you can bring the kids. The building itself is very atmospheric and historic, I believe built in the early 1800s. When you go downstairs, which is the place you want to be I think, you can see the architectural era of the building. Valet parking, and at night you'll see limos from New York City.
