My absolute favorite local place to go to for breakfast, coffee, lunch etc. Amazing comfy food, fun sweet staff and GREAT decor/atmosphere. Just DON’T order the insanely good Baked Oatmeal, they have limited amounts each day and if the word gets around about how good it is they’ll always run out before I get there.
A great local spot! And I'm a big fan of the oatmeal. :)
My favorite breakfast place. Our small town has never had an adult place to go for breakfast/lunch (there is one place, went there for years when my kids were little, but now it's still the same. Lots of little kids, food is meh). So Kitchen Table is the place if you are a grownup. Casual, can get crowded, but food is good, the place is welcoming, and the staff are great.
This is a small but nice place to stop in for breakfast or lunch. There is another evening during the week where it opens for dinner and serves beer and wine but I've never been there for that. The menu is simple but tasty and serves locally produced foods. When you go in at breakfast time, make sure to have some hot buttered toast with the jam. That's a treat, and you probably already know that you can't say that about most places. There's take out and service at the table. I found the servers to be a little indifferent and young. I came in for the first time after it just opened, and stood by the counter waiting for a takeout coffee for 15 minutes before someone took my order. That hasn't happened the other times I was there. If you have a large group of people, ask first, because seating is limited.
No place better than this for avocado toast! Love the friendly welcome and great service. The food is fresh and coffee is delicious. Plus they have the works of local artists on display which gives this great connection to the community. Pound Ridge is lucky to have this little gem!
