“As I walked by the Starbucks in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center, I wondered if it was closed because of their tinted windows. Of course they were open but that feature makes it cozier for the customers who are sitting and working or schmoozing while they drink their coffee or nosh. While every Starbucks has certain similarities, this one is larger and offers their guests more room to relax. Even their sandwiches and salads are displayed in a classier display case!”

I went today with my mom to try this place out , We drove from the Bronx just to try and we loved the donuts! I had the cinnamon toast and it was just a bit too sweet for me , however that just means I will have to give the other flavors a try ! Next time I think I would actually get the donuts plain and an energy drink . Don’t get me wrong the toppings are delicious but the plain donut is all the goodness you need ! “I am very pleased with the new Green Way Markets in Cross River. The store is beautiful and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I am short, so the tall shelves are my least favorite part of the store but I understand that it allows them to have more products in a fairly small store. Employees are easily found throughout the store and happy to help. I find their prices to be on par with other stores in the area for most items and the selection is great. I attended their grand opening and have shopped there numerous times since. The owner truly listens to the customers and their suggestions. I commented on something during the grand opening and when I returned later that evening to pick up something, my suggestion was already implemented. I have heard of similar experiences from others as well. If there is something you don't like, talk with the owner or manager. Give them a chance to make improvements. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with their attentiveness.”

“This place satisfies me in more ways than just having an empty stomach. The food is always hot and fresh and the overall atmosphere is very comforting. Love the staff as they are always wholesome and they even remember the way I like my meal prepared. You can honestly feel the food is made with effort and not just slapping two pieces of toast together and “voilà!” The manager goes out of her way to make sure every single customer is treated with respect. I think her name is Courtney. I remember one particular incident, I was ordering my usual and she recalled it from memory... a lady came storming in shouting “there was a baby in an unattended van without the heat going”. I told her I wanted to help and she said if I were to step out of line and help the poor hysterical woman, Courtney would make sure my order was taken care of. Sure enough, I stepped out to assist the concerned woman. I’m came back inside and there my order was, readily prepared even with my usual chips and OJ. I didn’t Even have to ask. She thanked me for being a upstanding bystander. It’s always a pleasure when she’s there. I can tell she really knows how to run this business. I will be telling everyone about this place!!!!”

We got a delicious green drink, apples, mint, cucumber and strawberry, and sampled various yogurt ice-creams, and also had a ube, Korean purple yam square cake with a sprinkling of shaved coconut! Very friendly staff. Restroom inside. I returned recently and got a green drink of apples, pineapple, mint and kale... this is going to be my drink next time too because it was really delicious and so healthy for you too! They put the right amount of mint!”
