Penn Yan Diner

Retro diner with excellent food. Very small inside, be prepared for that. Homemade offerings include scratch gravy, biscuits, corned beef ( cooked the right way- long and slow) and pancakes, sweet or buckwheat. Great experience all around, can't beat the prices either. Wish I lived closer!

The restaurant promises to be "retro-licious" and does not disappoint. Absolutely everything we've eaten here has been amazing. The staff is super friendly and will cheerfully make substitutions. Try literally anything. And when the staff suggests the local hot sauce? Say yes!

Great place for breakfast, so funny some of these people, whomever said long wait time...hmm what do you expect from a great small diner. And for all the gluten free comments...go somewhere else then, all you want is attention. Keep up the good work...thanks for having us.

Nice little diner with only a little curb appeal but tons of character, good service, and great food.
Not a lot of seating with only about 8 small tables and a long counter with a dozen stools. It's worth the wait for the experience and food. The pancakes are a highlight of their food offerings. Awesome coffee too!
