“I love this store, it has grown in the last 5 years. The family that runs it are very friendly, outgoing and helpful. They have books, bulk items, deli counter, shelves of food, refrigerator items, fresh eggs, cheese, health section, freshly made soap and Pepsi products. The sub sandwiches are delicious and they have the best smoked ham hocks I have ever seen (and I’ve looked for them for years in several places). I look forward to going back!”

“Had an excellent dinner here on Sunday night! We had a large group, and ended up sampling a good portion of the menu. Everything was delicious, especially the Pork Belly and the BBQ rabbit. We were told that the chef is originally from New Orleans, and he definitely brought some of that Cajun flair with him. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food as well, and beautiful views of the lake. Would definitely recommend dinner around sunset. Seems like they are still ramping up the wait staff as this is a new restaurant, so we had some minor delays, but everyone was VERY nice and professional. Definitely worth the trip up the lake if you are looking for a nice dinner in the area!”

“Everything about Plum Point Lodge was warm and inviting. They kept in touch with frequent emails so we knew what to expect when we arrived. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not extravagant but adequate. Could have used a coffee set up in the room because I rise very very early. The restaurant Sapalta was expensive but didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious and did not regret spending. Would definitely go back again.”

“Great local bulk food store. This mennonite owned business is a favorite of locals and if you're a tourist or passing through I highly recommend. They offer a multitude of bulk baking items, nuts, snacks etc. As well as fresh made bakery items, local cheeses, meats and deli, local honey and local maple syrup. Seasonal local veggies and farm fresh eggs are my favorite items to purchase. If you stop by in the summer months they usually have beautiful hanging baskets of flowers available and just down the street is a great greenhouse with a huge variety of plants and flowers available. Prices at both businesses are usually very affordable.”

“They have just opened a tasting room after having a deli/cafe. Their wines are flavorful but a bit too light for me. I prefer full bodied reds. These would probably age well if you put them back for 2-5 years. But they were flavorful with some reasonable complexity. The deli/cafe/bakery is wonderful. I had a great grilled Reuben and some shortbread for dessert. Both were very good. They have a large selection of cookies, cupcakes, breads, etc so it's well worth visit.”
