“Yesterday’s grill is located in Snow Camp, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. But it is a beautiful drive to get there, and features some very bucolic scenes of the Triad area. The restaurant is small but has a beautiful wood interior and very cute decor. Popular with locals and visitors alike, you can expect a wait at lunchtime. The staff is friendly and hard working. The food was very good. I had the smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket had a delicious taste, and—be still, my heart— I actually finally found a place that has smoked meat that tastes like… SMOKE! The brisket could have been a little more tender, though. The crinkle fries were perfect, and the potato salad was excellent. The sweet tea was outstanding—among the best I’ve had. One drawback was that the menus desperately need to be wiped down—they were grody with a film of grime.”
