“My wife and I have been to this new location a few times now. We are always cautious because the parking lot looks packed but we have never had a problem getting seated right away. We have tried a variety of things on the menu and everything so far has been good. Service can be a tough slow at times and getting soda refills can take a while. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly.”

“Village Grill is an upscale spot without, for its type, breaking the bank. 5 stars for finding that sweet spot in the middle. They are family friendly, but as many customers visit to celebrate events or a special night out, I'd be sensitive to that too. The house specializes in Key West chicken (marinated in Key West limes?) and fish dishes, also has good pasta, burgers, and steaks. I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there since 1999. We like the grilled tuna. They will put it on a salad if you ask. Also try the shrimp, fantastic crab cakes, and crab soup. I've taken others there that liked the steaks and pasta. The point I'm making is that it's good all-round. They also have excellent key lime pie. And, they are locally owned and operated! So please give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I'm convinced about that because I've been happy there for 20+ years.”

The potato cakes had a good flavor but we're very greasy. I had to use several napkins to soak up the excess grease from the potato cakes. Thank goodness I had a coupon because my meal wasn't worth the regular price of over $6.”

“The decor and atmosphere was really nice & cozy. I had the Philly Steak Sub. And it was the best steak sub I have ever had, because you can actually taste the beef ! My only complaints are: I ordered a Pepsi at first but it was mostly water; I politely told the waitress about it. She offered to bring me something else right on the spot. I asked for Mountain Dew, but that was flat, too! I drank it anyway b/c I didn't want to be "that" customer. Other than that, pretty good.”
