It was CRAZY busy when we were here tonight but the staff was rocking it and our wait wasn't long at all. April was really busy but never forgot us and the guy on the grill definitely loves his job & my daughter loved his singing. We'll definitely be back.
The food is good, fast and freshly made. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is uplifting.
We've been fans since they were called Andy's way back in the day. Cheese steak/or with chicken, always good. They do a solid shrimp Po'boy, and burgers are reliably good. Good ice cream, chocolate cement with Heath Bar is a favorite. Sometimes service is spotty, but generally great.
I love the milkshakes! Usually ill get a chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake. I would say that the hamburgers taste average, sometimes not enough spice, but decently priced. The tater tots and fries are out of this world. Its definitely a place for families, so I usually get food to go, and its done pretty quickly.
It isn't often that I give a 5 star review but this diner gets one. The food was simple and I mean that in a good way. Very straight forward and very good. What took this to a 5 star, for me, was the whole package. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and uplifting. Very retro look inside with the kind of welcome you would imagine to have received from back in the 1950s, when service was about the customer. Our waitress, Casey B., was so attentive and nice. The milkshakes are some of the best too, so how can you go wrong? We will be back and definitely suggest anyone else to go here.
