LongHorn Steakhouse

Longhorn steakhouse in Burlington is a must go restaurant. Even though it is a chain, this one just seems different. If you decide to sit at the bar, (Tuesday-Sunday) you will most like get Mike. Mike is the best bartender in Burlington. He treats you like a brother and gives respect like few others. If you are going to sit in the dining section, ask for grant. We have been unlucky and have only had him 2-3 times, because we have forgotten to ask or he is off, but when we have him it’s an absolute pleasure. Absolutely incredible waiter, kind patience and helpful! Great establishment, only change would be don't overcook burgers, ask for one grade lower (normally medium, go medium rare etc.

Best steak to order in area. We had 6 oz Flo's filet medium with a hot pink center, very tender and juicy. Easy on the pocketbook. Service was fast and polite. Wish I had room for dessert. Update: my friend and I returned on the Saturday before Mother's Day. The place was packed. We decided to eat at the bar. Michael (bartender) and Jennifer (wait person) were spectacular, going overboard with their friendliness and service. The prime rib was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I can't begin to say enough kind words about the level of professionalism and quality regarding the staff and the food. This is the place for steak in West Burlington, just off Huffman Mill Road near Church Street; stoplight for easy in and out turning.

Everyone in our party loved their food. Honestly I would describe the waitstaff as very curt. I also have always had a long wait at every experience I have had at this restaurant. We have gone on different days and at different times but it is always the same outcome. Super long wait but food is worth it (if you have the time).
Example last visit we went on a Tuesday night and arrived at 645. We did not leave until 930. This was for 3 adult meals and 2 kid plates.

My husband and I ate here last night for date night, for parents that get these very few and far between I can say our experience here was wonderful. Our waiter was on point, humorous, patient and also made sure to help out other waitstaff while still making sure everything was perfect for us. The wait was minimal and the food and drinks were amazing. We can't wait till we can come back.
