The Root

Had a wonderful lunch here today. The food is so fresh and there are lots of vegetarian options. And you can get any of the sandwiches or burgers as a wrap, which is wonderful is you're minding your carbs. Definitely go here - especially when Elon University is out of session (or you might find there's a wait).

Beautiful salads and perfectly prepared proteins. Always a great combination at The Root.

Very accommodating to our large party! Excellent fried cauliflower and edamame dip! Also, etch a sketches replaced screens- brilliant idea.

The food was pretty standard, though there are some creative sides. It's much more a sit down burger and wraps place than anything else. The service was good, nice drinks, but the food was just adequate. The floor was dirty with food bits and paper. It may be a decent place as a watering hole or bar choice.

Good food, quickly served. Popular with the campus crowd. Informal setting, can accommodate vegans too!

We like the Asian Salad (add shrimp), the Chicken Bacon Sandwich, and the Sweet Potato Fries.
