    An easy decision to put five stars here: Because going to Allen’s is just like going home. Both for the food and for the good people. This is the kind of place where the locals go and the local cook and serve. Everyone is kind and polite and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. No pretenses, no gimmicks and lots of artifacts and signs and newspaper articles everywhere. Situated randomly off US-74, this was where we had a business meeting and it could not have been more enjoyable!

    Went for their Sunday buffet after church. Great "country style" cooking. Great service....employees were eager to help you with any need we had.

    My daughter and I were hungry, looking for a place for breakfast on our way to Myrtle Beach. Oh how my daughter raved over this place...the authentic-looking design and decor. The servers were very friendly and down to earth. Nice country atmosphere. We do plan to return.
