    My wife and I had a fantastic early Mother's Day dinner here.The fried chicken was a little bit dry, but other than that, great food and wonderful service. One small piece of advice... do NOT put the chicken gravy on your biscuit! LOL (it ain't Momma's breakfast gravy!!!) ????

    Some of the best food on the planet!! You will love it! Order from the Menu or get family style with Country Ham and Fried chicken with a ton of sides. The outdoor atmosphere is great with Live Music on the weekend, shops are open, great pond for pictures in the rear....and of course....the Shatley Springs Water fountain...of youth? Lots of things to do and soak up here. Great place to go with friends....make sure you call ahead a day or two in advance to get a reservation, otherwise it is hard to get in as a walk up.

    Love it!!! Wonderful home cooked food. Service was super friendly and made us feel welcome.

    Worth the drive and wait. Best biscuits and jam in NC. Best pancakes this side of heaven. Serve family style. It's a must every visit to the mountains.

    I love Shatley Springs. If you have not been go. If you have a large group of people and everyone gets family style it is just a great experience. I usually just get a plate but like that the food is really good. Can be a wait. Call for reservations if a group. Leaf season is really busy
