“I don’t know these other reviewers problems are, but this is one of the greatest places I’ve ever ate at for breakfast. Family style servings for your table, and you won’t leave hungry. I’m from North Wilkesboro (around 40 minutes away), and my wife being from Ashe county, so we come every chance we get.”

“Can't say enough good about Shatley Springs just a great place. It can be bad crowded sometimes. They now have dark meat fried chicken..it was awesome. Best mashed potatoes on the planet. The strawberry preserves are awesome...Also tried the chicken pie it was great. If you can go as a group and alot get the all you can eat..that is a great experience. I just get a plate and it all I want....well maybe some good cobbler...their cobbler is great. My advice...go if you can..I drive 1 1/2 hrs and it is well worth it...also the spring water is great”

“Some of the best food on the planet!! You will love it! Order from the Menu or get family style with Country Ham and Fried chicken with a ton of sides. The outdoor atmosphere is great with Live Music on the weekend, shops are open, great pond for pictures in the rear....and of course....the Shatley Springs Water fountain...of youth? Lots of things to do and soak up here. Great place to go with friends....make sure you call ahead a day or two in advance to get a reservation, otherwise it is hard to get in as a walk up.”
