Stonewalls Restaurant

Excellent food and wine menu. The prime rib is slow cooked all day to medium rare and it just melts in your mouth. I can't wait to go again.

Expensive, but so-o-o good. Service was superb. Prime Rib was excellent. Fabulous salad bar (well worth the $4 upcharge). Desert was decadent. Recommended for a once-a-year splurge or special occasion.

Highly recommended! We had a party of 11 this weekend and had made reservations ahead of time. Our server, Courtney was AMAZING! Seriously, one of the best servers I've ever had. She was so attentive. Our glasses were never empty and the table stayed clear of dirty plates and trash the whole time. She made sure our three year old was comfortable the whole time as well. The guitar player that started while we were there was great too. He even sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. The salad bar is great and has so many options. One thing...out of eleven, two of us had over done steaks. If you are in Banner Elk, go to Stonewalls.

Menu is increadibly deep with options. Every person in our four part group raved about the scrumptious servings. Service was way above average. Make a reservation because there is a reason they are so very busy. Five stars!

This was a case of serendipity. We were looking for a different restaurant and came across Stonewalls. We decided to go here instead and couldn't have been happier with our choice. While we got there a little late (just a few minutes before the kitchen officially closed), the co-owner welcomed us warmly and told us it was no problem. The food was delicious and the staff was super-friendly. Will most definitely make this a regular stop when we're in the area!
