Blind Elk Tap Room

Cool little bar in Banner Elk. On a nice day they are able to open up the front and they have a little bar you can sit at in the fresh air. They have a nice selection of beer from local breweries as well as other alcohol options. No food, just a straight up small bar.

What an awesome and fun place! Lydia was the BEST bartender and was so knowledgeable about the brews. She was pleasant to talk to and so accommodating. There were eight in our group and she served us all with a smile. I highly recommend the Blind Elk!

Great experience! Staff was very kind and welcoming. Good atmosphere. Nice bar area and lounge upstairs. Great place to watch games. The locals were very friendly and made us feel at home. My boyfriend and I highly recommend!

2022 update. Still a great place to stop in for a beer or cider. Helpful FYI: they have more parking in the back. Finally got to check out Blind Elk. I loved it. Beer on tap doesn’t do it for me but they have amazing Prosecco! I did try the beer we ordered and it was light & refreshing. Definitely gets busy after 4pm but in a fun way. Glad they are in the neighborhood.

Great find in Downtown Banner Elk! Friendly staff, samples offered before you commit to a drink selection, tons of tasty packaged snacks, and a variety of seating options. Our group of nine walked in and received quick service and enjoyed a good hang while waiting for a table across the street.
