The food was great and so much. We could have shared and been full, but so glad to take left overs home. Definitely a place to repeat. We got salads and a appetizer and our meals. Then they came out with homemade rolls. We were overwhelmed by the amount of food. The price was very reasonable.
Great Italian food restaurant. Super pizza. Wings are big and full of flavor. Service is always good.
Seldom give 5 stars. But Bella's far exceeded our traveling expectations. We pulled in as we were passing through Banner Elk. Just wanted a quick bite for lunch. The menu was extensive. We opted for the lunch portions of the lasagna and spaghetti/meatball. Oh my lands, authentic Italian flavors for sure. The sauces are made on site, the seasoning is true to their origins. On top of the wonderful food, our server (Laura) was knowledgable and engaging, spot on service too. A first rate experience.
Bella's is a traditional Italian restaurant on the beaten path in banner elk. In the same complex as the food Lion. I always like lasagna made with Italian sausage. Or something with alfredo sauce. It is the old style Italian restaurant feel and atmosphere. Be prepared to enjoy yourself and not be in a hurry. Always nice place to get a round table with friends and have a glass of wine and visit while you're waiting for your meal.
What a surprise this place was! We’d just got done at Sugar and decided to stop and grab food before heading out. This restaurant is located in a small plaza a half mile around the corner. From the outside, the restaurant didn’t look all that, in fact, I wasn’t overly impressed inside, either. Though it had a cozy feel, it appeared grimy yet wasn’t at all.
We ordered their pizza, pasta, and meatballs and had their garlic bread. Absolutely everything was just delicious. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a beautifully crisped crust. The meatballs were enormous and served in a fantastic marinara with a mozzarella topping and were just incredible. Noodles were awesome, too.
The service was extremely quick and efficient, and servers extremely friendly, welcoming and polite. The menu appeared expensive, yet when we received the bill is was extremely reasonable. A nice surprise.
There is plenty of parking out in the lot, and a good amount of indoor seating. I can’t wait to head back —delicious!
