    Who knew a small town would have so much flavor! It's nice to experience Cuban food in the mountains of North Carolina!!! The food was wonderful!

    Service, food and experience are top notch. Love coming here every time we visit Banner Elk. It’s a must do for us. The menu is fun and unique. Jorlando’s excitement is contagious. We assumed he was the owner because he does such a great job.

    We sat at the bar so I cannot comment on the wait staff. But, the owner who served us himself, was super friendly and helpful. They have a varied and extensive taco selection. We tried several and they were all very good. We even took some to go with us back up the mountain to our cabin so we could enjoy them again later. ;) Great spot right at the bottom of Beech Mountain.

    So we drove up from Florida to vacation with our family in the mountains. We always like to try new places and good food. We Google "places to eat near us" and found BODEGAS. We loved the "small plate" variety, this gave us plenty of options to choose from. Wait, it gets better...... when the food came out, it was FRESH & DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend this place if your visiting.
    The owner is remodeling the place to meet the needs of the community. It was nice to see the future planning....
