Elevations Restaurant

I have to say, I have traveled the world and visited 1000s of places to eat. Spending 3 days in Banner Elk, I went back to this place 4 times. Ed and his staff were absolutely amazing. The food was world class and the hospitality was beyond anything I have seen in years. I would recommend this place to everyone that is in the area, even if you have to drive to get there. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Ed for the incredible food and wonderful memories. I'll tell all the guys at the Embassy about you.

Elevations has lovely decor, classic lounge-style music and a great atmosphere. I sat outside on the porch with my family for a couple of drinks and had a lovely time. Katie the bartender was very friendly and very attentive, and Ed the manager came out to check on us and make sure we had cold drinks and hot bread! Other reviewers have commented about the bread being undercooked and the honey butter not being sweet, but the soft sourdough bread was baked exactly as it should’ve been (soft and a tiny bit doughy) and the honey butter was sweet without being overwhelmingly so. I would definitely come back for drinks and try out their steak or burgers which we were told are their specialty.

Elevations is absolutely incredible!!! If you are in this area, you should absolutely visit them for a delicious meal. Their wait staff and service are outstanding, the owner is great, and the food is the best my crew has enjoyed when visiting North Carolina.

My wife and I had lunch at Elevations today. It was the perfect dining experience. The decor and lighting provided a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Our waiters timing and table side manners were spot on. When the food arrived we were impressed. We've been to many restaurants over the years. Few dining experiences have been memorable to where we tell people about them. This is one of them. Hats off the Elevations for contributing to a beautiful day in the mountains.
