One of my favorites! Good food, good prices and friendly staff!
Five stars all the way! We had no idea they had live entertainment, but they did on the Friday we dined there. First class operation with excellent food and service in a well lighted and clean venue. The menu is extensive and their prices are competitive with other Mexican restaurants in the area. Lots of parking right out front. Convenient location. I like the elevated booths the best.
The pablano is out of this world. I like the combination where you pick what you want. The burrito is good too!
Great staff and overall very consistent quality. Salsa is hot and spicy, not just watery tomato puree. Kids meals are great portions as well. I this kids taco plate is around $2.50. Can't beat that. Very good beer selection for a Mexican restaurant and well rounded prices on that aswell. Beware of the armadillo burrito, it's HUGE!
The four stars is mostly for the friendly staff and the food is good. Inconsistency seems to be the motto of this restaurant however and it is disappointing. I order the exact same thing every time I call to pick up food, and every single time it is different. Sometimes it's the price- Last weekend it was over $7 for two pork tacos, this weekend it was $4.50, other times it's $6.50. Sometimes I get a small cup of veggies for the taco, other times I just get two tacos with the meat choice only. Today I receive two flour tortillas instead of corn the first time, next to no meat, lettuce, and cheese. I don't eat cheese and have come to expect this is something I don't have to ask to be left off as it never comes on the tacos, until today. Guys, your menu is way too big, and as a result nothing gets made the same way twice because you're not all on the same page. Figure out what your top ten best sellers are, get rid of the rest. Having a several page menu of items that are all basically the same makes it confusing for everyone involved and slows your table turns, costing you money. I'll be back, but it's going to be a while now. The convenience store just down the street has arguably better tacos and they come out the same every single time.
