This is pub grub done up to the nines. I find that it is worth the price of admission, but just know that it will set you back. The food and drink menus all change seasonally as ingredients become available. Having been at several different times of the year, I can say that I have never had a bad meal. Everything is cooked to perfection, and should anything be amiss the staff handles it promptly and with poise.
Nothing particularly special about this place. Simple food at not so simple prices. I don't think the food was cooked long enough as my medium well burger had a lot of red in it still. My wife was ill with stomach cramps and diarrhea much of the night after eating the fish. The atmosphere wasn't anything special in my opinion. Everything tasted good though, and not a bad experience, but I could not see the value.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a stay at the Biltmore Hotel and a lovely dinner at Cedric’s Tavern. I had roasted chicken and my husband had an interesting seafood special. Our meals were delicious as always, and Bill and Genevieve were so helpful and sweet in making sure we had a wonderful time. Loved the live music, and of course, the champagne and truffles! This was a perfect evening, thank you Cedric’s...we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended if you visit Antler Hill Village.
My friend and I obviously had a great time together at Cedric's Tavern. We ordered their chocolate cake, pretzel rolls and drinks (Noble Cider and a brown ale) in the afternoon. Our waiter was super friendly. For $12, their cake slice should have been much larger or cost less. It wasn't as rich and sinful as I was hoping for so I wouldn't order it again. The pretzel rolls with butter were delicious! The pickles were complimentary. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Would definitely return.
Everything was fantastic. From the atmosphere, waitress, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Wish this place was close to home. Had ham and cheese plate for appetizer, fish & chips, steak & potatoes, tavern cake and Bailey's Irish creme brulee. They brought homemade truffles as a birthday surprise.
