The pasta was delicious! I naively assumed their red sauce would be dairy free so I was disappointed to find out it contained cheese, but the chef was able to work with me to modify another dish to omit my allergies.

We went in at 7 and it was pretty empty but were told that all the tables had reservations. We were able to snag a table on the patio, though which was in the shade and had nice lights on the umbrella for when the sun went down.

Service byMateo was great and the food was top notch. Loved the eggplant appetizer and lemon dessert. The owner will stop by to meet you and make sure you are pleased.

Stopped in with my girlfriend celebrating our 1 year anniversary from Atlanta. AMAZING. Food was epic, Newton the owner came by to chat and have some of the wine we brought (Burly Cab, which he loved and is putting on his menu) and James our server was top notch. They all made our special night memorable!

    Definitely a win!

    Love this place.
    Fabulous menu.
Staff's attention towards patrons allergies are taken seriously.
The owner is usually there, stopping by to see how your dining experience is going.
Staying with the Asheville tradition I ate there after a day of hiking for an early dinner, not feeling out of place. Though normally I would have dressed differently.
Nice romantic space available if you're waiting a bit of privacy.
I would highly recommend reserving a table as they are usually booked.
Otherwise their communal table, bar seating or outdoor seating may be available.
Great history behind the walls of this quaint neighborhood restaurant.
    ENJOY
