Nine Mile

Oh man, you can not go wrong here. It is worth the wait and every entree comes with a delicious piece of bread and salad (seriously even their salad & dressings are amazing.) The portions are big too, you really do get your money’s worth. Staff has always been friendly and give great service even when it’s busy. Must try!

I was actually surprised by this place. I've been in Asheville for over a year, and I've been told to go to Nine Mile several times by many people, but I've never had good experience with this type of food before as everything was always extremely hot or over spiced. However, the balance of their food is excellent.

Cool place to try jamaican food. They have a lot of variety between meat dishes, vegetarian/vegan, spice levels, and more. Highly recommend it as a place to try something new without being afraid of not being able to find something you will like. Their signature dish is a great option or the vegan pesto pasta is also great.

Don’t come here expecting an authentic Caribbean cuisine experience. Nice & funky atmosphere with kind folks & a wonderful smell of Caribbean spices!

Unfortunately, this place is only Caribbean INSPIRED so the food did not have the Caribbean flavors I was looking forward to, especially from Jamaican cuisine. I am from the Caribbean myself & the food at Nine Mile is upscale & original with a “droplet of Caribbean” flare.

8 of us showed up after a quick wedding for my daughter in downtown Asheville. They were very accommodating and immediately setup a nice table for us. The service was good but the food was outstanding! We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend checking this place out.
