I probably wouldn't have eaten here if I could turn back time. We ended up giving half of our food to a homeless man in the park down the street, and a few minutes later we saw him throw it away. The waiter saw we had three kids and still didn't give us a kids menu. So we assumed they didn't have one and spent 15 minutes trying to decide what our kids would eat. Then when he was taking our order he mentioned they had kids menus. Then it took him half hour to bring our son a straw so he wouldn't have to drink out of fancy glasses. Had to ask for silverware after our food came. Then the food was okay but it wasn't worth the money, time, and energy. It's just not kid friendly. I didn't give it 3 stars because the atmosphere was nice.
Great food, great location, great people- this place was amazing! They were so accommodating to my group. I dropped off decorations in advance and they prepared the table for us prior to our arrival as a surprise for the birthday girl. Oh, and the food was also incredible :)
Fun ambience, and quality ingredients for sure. Lamb stew was delicious, otherwise the croissant madame and French dip were slightly lacking. We had hoped for a bit flavor given the price and that those were the two top recommendations of our waiter. The food came out a bit lukewarm, which may have affected the taste. Also, if you’re sitting on the patio, bring sunscreen. We weren’t offered an umbrella and left with sunburns.
The food here was delicious. Ordered the salmon and duck. Both entrees had great flavor. The service on the other hand was awful. We sat at the bar (only ones there) and it took the bartender, Elaina forever to get us an alcoholic beverage. By the middle of my meal, I was out of water. Didn’t get any till the end of my meal when I asked for more. Didn’t ask us if we wanted more food, just assumed and it wasn’t even close to closing time.
I would recommend the food just not the service.
