I haven't been to Laughing Seed for a long time as I recall the kitchen being very slow. I only ordered a salad with tempeh this time, and it was quick and delicious. This time the service was friendlier as well. It was a great stop!
I like their food other than the desserts. The staff are courteous and helpful. Their food isn’t preferable for my tastes as someone who is used to eating meat so the meat substitutes are a bit odd texture wise for me. But all my vegetarian and vegan friends rave over it! And as someone who is allergic to milk, I love the dairy alternatives. The only reason why it has four stars is because of a not so perfect cheese cake I had there once and an incorrect order. But otherwise, it’s great! Plus if you want a drink and some Irish food afterwards for later, you can just head down the stairs and boom! You’re there. It’s a really neat shortcut and I think it’s super unique.
Amazing food and good service. Us four had several different meals I had one of the bowls and my partner had the Ruben...very delicious. For desert we had the vegan cheesecake and the peanut butter cookie both were very good. We would be happy to eat here again!
There are so many amazing vegetarian options! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The Chipotle cauliflower mac n cheese was delicious and I also enjoyed the side salad that came with it. I definitely recommend this restaurant to meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans alike. There is sure to be something for everyone on the menu.
I had a hard time deciding what to get with so many delicious looking vegan options. I settled on the Reuben with sweet potato pastrami and vegan cashew mozzarella. No regrets - it was amazing! The sweet potato chips were also delicious. Also a great location on a festive street in beautiful Asheville. A wonderful all around experience.
