Founder Susannah is a baking deity who uses her great skill and passion to create positively delightful sweet and savory works of art. No trip to OWL is complete, though, without tasting the other fare on offer (egg salad sandwich = recommended) and refueling with a top-shelf cappuccino. Not a traditional American Bakery but the quality is way above average. The interior is beautiful and very nice to enjoy a sweet or savory pastry. Not a huge selection but what they have is the best

Amazing, kind, friendly staff! Did not have any baked goods, but did have delicious drinks. Would recommend to anyone! The shrub was out of stock, so I'll be back soon to try it!

The bread is got, but for that price I would recommend to really work on the service. If there is a longer line of people working and you are 4 behind the counter don’t just let 1 guy slowly work his way through customers. Help out and work away the line and pick up what you were doing after

The absolute best bakery I've ever been to! Definitely the best in Asheville -- a real hidden gem! The orange morning bun is a staple! Everything is good though -- you won't regret anything that you order! Prices are really pleasing as are the staff! They make delicious coffee as well. The best place for morning treats!
