Mediocre at best. I went for a burger at 1pm and was the only person in there. The burger was tough, pretty dry, and lacked flavor. The tomato was cut incredibly thick.
Menu was limited, but execution was very good, especially for the price. An improvement for the hotel, no doubt.
Go for breakfast and order the Cure and the French Toast! You will not regret it.
I typically do not eat breakfast at hotels - because I want to explore and get the full experience. Holy cow was I wrong! I ordered the Cure and the French Toast (no compote) for breakfast. The BEST fried chicken and French toast I have ever had.
The Cure is an open face battered chicken biscuit sandwich with gravy, fried green tomatoe, bacon, and sunny side up eggs. The chicken was nice a crispy with just the right amount of batter.
The French toast was made of challah bread, and had a light citrusy and vanilla note. I have never been able to perfect how to get flavor into French toast, so I have a serious appreciation for how good this French toast was!
And then to top it off, our server was by far the nicest waitress we encountered in all of Asheville (and that means a lot since we noticed almost EVERYONE was incredibly nice).
