Waffle House

I always get their chicken under the dome..... whether on salad greens, or with hash browns scattered, two eggs over easy, no toast....I always like their chicken.

This is comfort food. This is a quick stop, might as well get a waffle food.....I like them on the darker side, syrup mixed in the butter, on the side so waffle remains crisp, with a sprinkle if salt please.

Food was good. Unfortunately, they lose points for not being more flexible with seating. We had 4 adults and 2 children, who all fit in a booth, but the manager informed us we would have to split between tables because of our party's size. I understand the logic, but this is waffle house. A family should be able to sit together if can be reasonably accomplished. It's not like we're going to blow the ambiance.

The dining area is meaty and clean and the staff is excellent and friendly but there aren't enough booths. There are plenty of seats at the counter though. The food is good and the atmosphere is casual. Definitely a good place for a quick bite even though the menu isn't extensive.

I just love Waffle House. Maybe it's a southern thing. but Waffle House is an institution. It's cheap, fast and consistent. Their coffee is always the best and service is usually on point.
