The trick is located on the back side of Zillicoah Brewery, go through the brewery or around the covered patio side. It's quite far back.

The last time I had Filipino food was over 10 years ago so take this with a grain of salt - I could be doing it all wrong.

I asked about the menu, and wanted to try the lumpia. I went with the Platter, which comes with 5 lumpia, 3 skewers, a thimble of pickles, java rice, orange-color sauce, brown-color sauce, and soy sauce. It's too much lumpia and not enough of everything else for a shared meal and too much for a single meal.

I dipped the lumpia in the orange and the brown, preferring the orange, but both were tasty. The lumpia was the standout for me, dipped or plain.

The rice was a bit gummy and underseasoned so I poured the thimble of soy sauce on top and that helped a bit.

I dipped the chicken and pork skewers in the brown and orange, but preferred the brown. The skewers were dry and tough. I wanted to like these more, but the flavor was underwhelming and they were difficult to eat.

I loved the pickles and wish there was more than a spoonful.

The folks were super friendly and the presentation is good, but the food was a bit all over the place and nothing was particularly great or memorable. Could be an off night, could be early days. Give it a shot and see for yourself.
