JD's Smokehouse

Some of the best barbecue around!!! Food is great and the brisket is the best! People that are nice enough but sometimes depend on which waitress we get, they can be off putting. The atmosphere and the welcoming nature of the staff means a lot to me.

Very very Good place.. I just went for my first time. Almost did not go in because it was so busy. But someone in the parking lot told me they normally get you a table quickly.
So me and my wife went ahead and tried and they got us in very quickly and we was both so glad we tried it. The food was Awesome
And the plates came with big portions
All I can say is , go eat here at this place , u will be happy you did.

Was visiting a nearby location on a business trip. Asked friends what restaurant they MUST always go. They recommended JD’s. I was not disappointed. What a fantastic place. The line may appear long but it moves relatively quickly. I had the sampler platter - ribs, bbq, and brisket. Wow! Can’t wait to go again when I’m back in the area.

Edit: went again on Feb 28. Was delicious again and I tried another dish and the green bean casserole that a friend raved about last time we were here. Love this place and its decor. No question I would be a regular here if I lived in the area. Plus, see the following video- its just fun to watch.....

By far one of my favorite places to eat in the world. I have convinced friends and family from all over the state and neighboring states to come try it out and all have left happy and said it is the best BBQ they have ever had. I honestly wish I could give it a 6 out of 5 stars. If you haven't been........go!
