Famous Toastery

Famous Toastery is one of my favorite breakfast places in the Charlotte area. Reasonably priced with great food options, you can never go wrong with a Famous Toastery breakfast. There business model is also pretty genius. Every server is your server, that way you don't have to wait for a specific server to help you and can get in and out in a fast and efficient way, all while still maintaining a quality dining experience.

Most of the time there is a line out the door. It is definitely worth waiting for. It's a bit pricey, but also worth it. Great casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. The food is incredible.

Friendly atmosphere. Good food. All the servers are at your beckoning call. Weekends get pretty crowded. You may want to call with reservations. Some seating inside for waiting customers. I only gave it 4 stars because there are no booths.

Don’t come here when it busy, quality of food is poor and over looked. You can definitely sense there focus is turning tables. I had ask for a high chair for my son see the picture of how they gave it to us. It was dirty and not cleaned. I think it’s better to come here when it slow. In my opinion. Manager said comp my meal which was really nice of her to do.

from the moment you walk in the door, through service at your table, until you leave, the entire staff is attentive and responsive. your drink is never empty, dirty dishes are off the table in seconds, and you are never wanting for anything. on top of the top notch service, the food is really good. there's nothing super fancy, just whole ingredients prepared well. the whole family goes for breakfast often, and we love it, although, to be fair, i can't comment on lunch...
