Good old fashioned Southern cuisine. I had the Country Fried Steak with Sawmill gravy. No complaints here...it was delicious.

YUM! I've consistently had excellent meals here. Wednesday meatloaf day is on my calendar! Their cukes/onions side is just like my grandmother made....perfect balance of tart & sweet. Friday chicken livers are better than my grandmother made (but don't tell her that). Portions are large and flavorful. The waitstaff has been lovely every time we have eaten here.

I recently had the good fortune to eat at Southern cross roads. They had a nice selection on the menu, in fact I got the rainbow trout would you can have prepared 1 of 3 ways. I chose Fried and it was Delicious. They have a lot of Interesting things on offer for their sides. For example I had homemade potato salad and cucumbers and onions. Everything is prepared fresh and/or homemade. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Ate here early on a Sunday morning. Service was good. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I got grandma's breakfast and person with me got the western omelet. Food was prepared well and place was clean. With that being said in my opinion food was just okay. I do feel it was a little pricey. With coffee both meals were over $22.00. I'm not too cool with the guy ringing me up at the register asking me about a tip when I pay with a card. Left my tip at the table in cash so why ask me about a tip? That behavior is enough to make me not come back. Just don't like it. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the nice waitress and cleanliness of the restaurant.
