“Good food nice people expect the wait, they stay busy. One fact I don’t like is they charge a dollar for a glass of water. Most places water is free. I do not know why one of my sides. The coleslaw was in a little bit sauce container instead of the white ones like the other sides. Everyone else’s slaw in the pictures are in the bigger bowl. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ it was about a tablespoon of slaw. My husband ate a bite, and I didn’t even have enough to taste to see if I even liked it. 😞4 stars bc of that and charging a dollar for the water.”

“I'm in a rural area so, this place is awesome when your in a pinch for almost all household needs such as canned foods, sodas last minute carchoal or propane exchange etc.. Its a convenient store so, prices are a little high and that exspected. So there you have it.”

“Ordered the molcajeta and it’s such a great value! A large dish with fluffy rice, dressed lettuce, and some amazing beans as the sides. Some fresh made corn tortillas on the along the mortar bowl filled with chicken, steak, shrimp, and chorizo proteins. The flayed pepper in the middle is beautiful and delicious. My only critique is that since the steak is cut so thin and being served in a cold plastic bowl the meat cooled down pretty fast and hardened quicker than anticipated, yet still flavorful. Definitely a gem in Lenoir and I can’t wait to go back and try something else!”

“It's nice out there. The owners should be commended for stopping a Dollar General from going in. Beyond that, it is a nice vibe and the locals have noticed. Your choices are pizza and beer. And it's worth the trip! We had a "Ms Figgy" and a "Mr Piggy" pizza. The crust is awesome. It is on a really good motorcycle rode, lots of bikes there. Every one was super friendly, they have live music in the evenings.”

“We are from Florida and were looking for something active to do before the snow storm the next day. We were in the Boone area and noticed this was the nearest golf course open to us. The proshop staff was very helpful & extremely welcoming. Upon request, the staff set us up with a good set of rentals clubs. We chose this course because it was the only one we called who offered rental clubs. The course, although dry due to cold weather, was beautiful. Love to come here again!”

“This place is just as good as the Lenoir one! The employees are friendly, the food is great (love me a chili and cheese hot dog from here), and of course the ice cream is good too! They have a small dining area outside that is adorable, the seating inside is comfortable, and I love the way they have the inside, the wall colors and the records on the walls.”
