(August 4, 2019, 8:48 pm)Finally got a chance to try La Perla for dinner. My husband and I love places labeled "foodie heaven" and this was at the top of our list. It definitely did not disappoint. We started with the figs with goat cheese (which I highly recommend) along with the octopus. Both were cooked to perfection. After, we ordered the duck carnitas and whole fish. Both dishes were also perfection and the flavors were far above and beyond what you would find in a small coastal town. I would expect such cuisine in New York, but La Perla exceeded any Spanish dishes I have ever eaten. Definitely plan to visit for dinner the next time you are in Beaufort.

(June 30, 2019, 1:21 am)La Perla is on a different level in regards to the cuisine in the area. Sure, you can get some solid seafood in Atlantic Beach, Beaufort, and Morehead City. However, this restaurant is true fine dining with food that is meant to be appreciated for the art that it is. Do not hesitate to make a reservation and enjoy all they have to offer.
