“First the good: the food was very, very good. Especially liked the Elote (Mexican Street corn), which was A++! My complements to the Chef. So, the restaurant is very new and they haven’t quite “figured it out” yet. Example, the starters come before the meal, not at the same time. Second, I believe it’s a bit understaffed, like other places. However, I see great potential here… Front Street Taco can easily become one of the best restaurants in town.”

“Really well-done food, nice wine menu, and accommodating staff in the heart of historic Beaufort. However, servers can sometimes fail the basic "keep my water and wine glass full" test. There's also a palpable difference between how regulars are treated versus the occasional customer. Dress is notably more upscale than most other restaurants in the area and casual will feel it of place...plan on buttoned shirts, not t-shirts.”

“The atmosphere, decor, and location are spectacular. The food was outstanding. The only complaint we had was in regards to our server, who was perhaps having a bad day or was overwhelmed, but left us unattended for the entirety of the meal. However, I understand that there are days that things go wrong on a personal level, and the performance of one individual did not lessen the experience below an excellent evening. I know the service was an outlier as we witnessed the other servers providing superb service to their diners, and overheard other diners commenting about how great their service was. Reservations are recommended. We will definitely return when in the Beaufort, NC area.”

“We stayed here on September 20, 2019 for one night for our anniversary. The pictures that was shown on the web page was wonderful but seeing it first hand was amazing!!! The hotel staff was awesome! The parking valet was super nice! We felt safe staying there too! (That's was a huge bonus for us!) Our room was gorgeous! The shower was beautiful! Bed was comfortable! It had modern touch with a homey feel. The views we're outstanding!! A great stay! Thank you so much!”
