“As someone new to the area, I have found the best breakfast place ever. The service is quick, the grits are melt in your mouth good and the serving sizes are perfect. I’ve been a couple time now and the locals always fill up every seat. This is a treasure. The chicken outside is a dead giveaway that you are at the right place.”

“We hit a homerun when we tried this place. I want to go back over and over and over again because there were so many different and unique items I wanted to try. The food we had was excellent and the view of the ocean if we wanted to sit outside it was gorgeous.”

“Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Make that our new FAVORITE restaurant. The food was amazing. We loved the shrimp tacos. Our picky daughter devoured all her ACP. The margaritas were on point. Never an empty basket of chips or empty drink glasses. Our first trip but definitely not our last. We docked near the restaurant at lunch time, were seated promptly and served quickly. A must try while in Beaufort.”

“Ask the owner of 28 years to snap your photo, she laughs along with you and your giggly girlfriends. You have to stop and stare at the dessert displayed near the host stand. Deepest deep dish chocolate pie ever! Like minded chef who experiments with diverse ideas. In that spirit I'm not disappointed that I tried avocado soup for the first time, and while I like avocados a lot, I wouldn't order the soup again. Rack of lamb excellent. Duck 2 ways, not so much. Great visuals abound. Beautiful apple artistry atop salad. Sweet zinnias in mason jars. Ever so often, drama arrives with Saganaki ablaze with brandy. Good decision to give that a try, very, very good. Though busy, the gracious feel beckons us to return.”

“The dock house was amazing. The food was really magnificent. I got a flounder sandwich, it was perfectly fried. The homemade slaw is out.of this world. We also got some softshell crabs and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and informative. We sat outside and the view was to die for. It over looks Taylor's Creek and there were so many boats it was a very nice experience. Over all great experience at this establishment. I highly recommend the food and the outdoor seating.”

“Loved the food! Everything we ordered was exceptionally delicious! From the fish and chips to the portabella burgers, oyster burger was awesome and we had the calamari appetizer. It is costly but to be expected for location and we ordered a lot of seafood. Overall the ambiance and history is the best part! We sat up in the balcony and had a large party which the young waiter absolutely took in stride and did a great job!”

“This was a scheduled event for an annual summer sister’s trip. The area has lots of history and Betsy, our guide & owner, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very engaging! She’s very personable and does a great job. Her choices for our food stops were amazing & the food was delicious. They have several different tours to choose from but I can say this one was great! Thank you to Betsy and her husband for a great experience. I highly recommend the Hungry Town Tours when you’re in the Beaufort area!”

“We always love Finz! I ordered the combo plate with flounder and shrimp. The flounder fillet was so big, it took up most of the plate! My husband had the blackened flounder sandwich and said it was delicious! Oh, make sure you get the crab dip. It was the best I've ever had!”

“The food was outstanding! The blueberry cheesecake was absolutely divine and was devoured in less than 30 seconds. If we had known how good it would be we would've ordered one piece for each of us. The facility itself was beautiful, clean, and modern, but not cold. We can't wait to dine there again!”

“Finally got a chance to try La Perla for dinner. My husband and I love places labeled "foodie heaven" and this was at the top of our list. It definitely did not disappoint. We started with the figs with goat cheese (which I highly recommend) along with the octopus. Both were cooked to perfection. After, we ordered the duck carnitas and whole fish. Both dishes were also perfection and the flavors were far above and beyond what you would find in a small coastal town. I would expect such cuisine in New York, but La Perla exceeded any Spanish dishes I have ever eaten. Definitely plan to visit for dinner the next time you are in Beaufort.”

“We came here as part of a large group special dinner out. Frank was the server at our table and he was fabulous and attentive. From what I could see, the other tables in our group were also well cared for by their servers. Food was delicious as well, and our drinks were well maintained. We also came in under budget for our event. Bless Frank and all the folks at The Spouter Inn.”

“This restaurant is run by a husband and wife team who set the bar high for themselves and their staff, and I have never seen the miss their mark. The staff is excellent. They know the menu and the wine list better than basically any restaurant I've ever been to. They have something to please everyone. As far as desserts, the sticky toffee is the best by far. How they make it is to die for (and unlike any other sticky toffee you may have had). All other dessert are still very good, but the sticky toffee can't be beat.”
