Cox Family Restaurant

Fantastic. The food is always delicious and served quickly. The servers are very nice and personable and they know all the regulars by name. They have great specials and low prices. I recommend beef tips on rice or the fishermans platter.

Cox Family Restaurant was cozy diner that had pretty much anything you and your family could want. It's safe to say the locals choose this place. Not to mention everything we ordered and ate was delicious! Also it was very inexpensive. Me and my boyfriend were both stuffed and satisfied with to go boxes for $16! I absolutely recommend stopping by for breakfast lunch or dinner. We had lunch and next time we're back in Morehead City we will dine here again.

Good food... service was weird... my waitress pretty much talked to the other waitresses the whole time. But didn’t detract from my visit. True feel good food

Pleasantly surprised by this gem of a find. Upon a recommendation of a friend, we made the 30 min trek over to cox family restaurant. Unbelieveable prices but be cautious what you purchase. I got the rib eye. It was about 3/4" and although i ordered it medium, it was more a medium well. The saving grace was how tender it was. My wife ordered the seafood and that was awesome. Order from their daily specials menu and receive a free dessert. I had the berry cobbler and it was pretty good. We will likely go back because of the wide variety and pretty good quality of the meal!
