KOBE - Japanese House of Steak & Seafood

Great place to eat, food is fresh and steaming hot. I had delicious steak and shrimp. More than I could eat so I brought some home. Entertaining cooks. I will go again.

Very fast and efficient. Our Teppanyaki chef was entertaining. The food was awesome. This was only my second dining experience at a Japanese grill, and I was very pleased with the way they moved you through on a very busy Sunday without making you feel rushed. You got in, you got dinner and a show, and you got out. I wish I'd taken photos.

This place is always great! Every chef we've had there had always put on a good show, and the price is very good. I'm a big dude, and they always give more than I can eat, which works out great for supper or lunch the next day. Also, somehow they have the best fried rice, not sure why it's different than other Japanese steak houses, but it is, and it's better!

The food was good but I never thought I would go to a Japanese restaurant and leave hungry. Me and my wife where seating at the end of the table. The portions started big at the other end and by time the chef got to us there was almost nothing left. For 26 dollars a person It was not worth it. And on top of that we called ahead for seating and still waited 45 minutes to be seated but the real issue was the amount of food for the price just didn't equal out. Most likely will not try this place again.

We absolutely love coming to Kobe! If you love fresh Japanese food and fun this is the place to go. The sushi bar is a very comfortable atmosphere with amazing fresh seafood. Weather you like vegetable sushi to crab or shrimp all the way to eel and octopus they've got it. After we eat a little sushi we move to another area where they cook your food at your table. These guys have a sense of humor and are REALLY good at having fun well they cook. They will put on a show for you. And the Birthday person gets a decorated piece of cheesecake and sung to with a gong and they get a picture of themselves in a frame. It's a little pricey but DEFINITELY worth it. We believe you get what you pay for. It is a very cozy relaxing environment with great people all the way around!!
