Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was pretty good. The Waiter was nice but *they asked very unusual questions. It was a good experience but not that impressive. The food was decent.

Ordered online it told me to head in and go straight to the to go pick stand. When I got there only one cashier was working. I was told by another employee that I needed to go stand in line to be helped. After waiting in line nearly 10 mins to tell the cashier I had a to go order, only to be told I had to wait yet again for my order to come out from the kitchen. When the waitress finally brought my food it wasn't bagged in the correct order and the French dip sauce was spilled out on everything. Other than that the food tasted amazing.

The food was good, not great. The service was decent, not fantastic. The server needed to be reminded several times of simple requests, like a cup or box, that never arrived. I've had better experiences.

I think Cracker Barrel food quality has dropped over the years. It has been over 2 years since I been back and always order the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. I remembered the steak used to be smothered in gravy, now just got a spoonful, same with the mashed potatoes. Pinto beans would have been so much better if they didn't fill it with dried up meat. Cornbread had a very hard semi burnt crust but inside is what corn bread should be. Server was great and met our needs so no complaints there.

Very great breakfast! Thought I was supposed to have my own bowl of gravy though my boyfriend and I ordered the breakfast sampler the samething, but they put the gravy in one small bowl! I'm like we were or should've had our own bowl of gravy!!! That's my only complaint!
