Very good, fresh food made to order. This is a fast casual restaurant, you can do takeout or dine-in. They have bottled drink options.

1) They were very friendly and helpful with helping me make my food choices.
2) 99.5 sanitation score!!🎉
3) Food was good. I was looking for something light and not heavy yet filling.
I had the chicken kabobs platter with a side of rice a salad and baklava to go.

Ordered lamb gyro lunch special and it was phenomenal! Just right amount of Greek garlic sauce. All together tax -w fries, bottled 20 oz was $12. Amount of food was large. Restaurant and dining room very clean. Customer service was great. Highly recommend

Today was our first time at Cairo, and I'm happy to say that it won't be our last.
I ordered the "Cairo Mix Over Rice". Unfortunately, that's not what they gave me... But what I had was still good! My wife got their cheese steak sandwich, and was pleased to announce that it was the best one she's had in Hickory!
As other reviews have stated, this place is more of a take out place, and less of a sit down restaurant. Although you order at the front counter, they have you pay at the end of your meal. This left me and my wife standing awkwardly for a few minutes since none of that was explained. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The people working there were friendly, and the food was brought out in a timely manner. We are excited to return to try other things on the menu soon! I will update this review as time goes on.
